“Ne Zha 2” is the sequel animated feature directed and written by Jiaozi, produced by Chengdu Cocoaniworks Co., Ltd. Running 144 minutes, the film premiered across all formats in mainland China in 2025, with subsequent international releases in numerous countries and territories.

The project underwent five years of meticulous refinement, assembling a production consortium comprising 138 domestic animation studios and engaging approximately 4,000 animation professionals. Following its release, the film shattered multiple records, registering over 320 million domestic admissions and claiming the top spot for audience size in China’s film history.

In terms of industry recognition, the film secured numerous prestigious accolades, including the “Special Contribution Film” honor at the 20th China Huabiao Awards, the Gold Award for Comprehensive Animated Films at the 21st China International Comic & Animation Festival (Golden Monkey King Awards), and the Best Animated Film award at the 2nd Golden Panda Awards.
